1. Cedar Point Amusement Park
Cedar Point is located in the town of Sandusky, Ohio, on a point or peninsula (hence the name) on the south shore of Lake Erie, about halfway between Toledo and Cleveland.
Cedar Point has one of the best roller coaster collections in the world.
Cedar Point has six coasters that are more than 200 feet tall. Steel Vengeance and Millennium Force are two of the six genuinely outstanding games. Throw in Maverick, and you’ve got the top three coasters in the world, all at the same park.
It is also home to 70 rides. Visit Cedar Point Shores Waterpark to stay and play longer. The water park is located next to Cedar Point, is an 18-acre water-paradise lover with attractions for both thrill-seekers and children.
Shopping, dining, and fun places for families to relax are also included in the experience.
2. Kings Island Theme Park
Kings Island Theme Park provides over 80 exciting rides and attractions for families of all ages. It’s home to the famous Diamondback Roller Coaster, which travels at 80 mph, and the Vortex, the Beast, and Windseeker thrill rides.
There’s also Planet Snoopy for the little ones. In addition, there are slides and wave pools in the water slide area.
Guests can ride 15 roller coasters, including the legendary Beast and Mystic Timbers, and family rides like Kings Mills Antique Autos. In addition, the Planet Snoopy kids’ area is an excellent place for families with young children to spend the day.
3. Six Flags Magic Mountain
Six Flags Over Georgia Magic Mountain is yet another of the best amusement parks in the United States that the entire family will enjoy.
The thrills begin with the well-known Batman, the Ride roller coaster, and the Apocalypse roller coaster.
With a speed of up to 100 miles per hour, Superman can drop you 415 feet in seven seconds. The Ninja, a suspended coaster that swings you sideways a full 90 degrees, is another attraction.
There are many slow rides for the tiny tots who visit the park.
4. Kentucky Kingdom
Five fantastic roller coasters, thrill rides, and classic favorites are more than 70 rides and attractions among the parks.
The park’s special children’s area, King Louie’s Playland, is one of the largest in the United States. Both kids and parents can have full enjoyment here. There is a massive water park to enjoy to top it all off!
Among the most recent additions are the Cyclos, a 360-degree swinging pendulum, and T3, a 2,260-foot track that will have you suspended, upside down, and otherwise quaking. The adjacent Hurricane Bay water park features a massive wave pool and Deep Water Dive, America’s tallest water slide (with a 121-foot drop).
5. Hershey Park
The park is located at 100 Hersheypark Drive in Hershey, Pennsylvania, approximately two hours west of Philadelphia and forty minutes northwest of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
It is not a theme park just for kids. Adults can have plenty of fun too.
The inverted Great Bear is among the steel coasters, which eventually takes riders into a deranged loop called an Immelmann, named after a World War I aerial maneuver.
Hershey’s Chocolate World, the company’s elaborate visitor’s center, is nearby and offers shopping, food courts, and chocolate tours.
6. Busch Gardens
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay offers an adventure for the whole family, world-class thrill rides, live entertainment, and over 12,000 animals.
The classic double-looping Loch Ness Monster coaster may have sparked the modern coaster craze in the country, as did The Tempesto, inspired by an Italian daredevil of the 1920s.
Ride an open-air touring vehicle across the 65-acre Serengeti Plain in the popular Serengeti Safari.
In addition, there will be world-class entertainment, including live shows for people of all ages.
