Olivia Rodrigo, ‘Sour’

Rodriguez is so good at capturing the hopelessness of heartbreak throughout the album that it’s hard to believe she’s singing only about young love and not about the hardships of a breakup and the disappointment that comes with it.


The music is such versatile for each song. Teens couldn’t get enough of this album.

Adele, ’30’

Adele’s long-awaited fourth studio album titled 30 was released on November 19, 2021.

The album was out after the singer took a break of 6 years.

With 30, Adele portrays divorce, motherhood, fame, heartbreak, acceptance, and hope. 

With producers such as Greg Kurstin, Max Martin, and Shellback, Adele wrote 30 songs between 2018 and 2021; Ludwig Göransson, and Inflo of the band Sault, are new collaborators.

The album topped charts in over 24 countries.

Adele became the first solo artist in history to win British Album of the Year three times with 30 at the 42nd Brit Awards.

Tyler, the Creator, ‘Call Me If You Get Lost’

This is the sixth album by rapper and producer Tyler, the Creator.

The album was jazz genre with a retro vibe to it. It was out on June 25th 2021.

The title was released by Columbia Records.

The artist went above and beyond for the album by placing billboards in major cities around the world.

Billie Eilish, ‘Happier Than Ever’

Released on July 30th, 2021, this is the 2nd album by the singer.

It was released by Darkroom and Interscope Records.

A total of eight colored vinyl LPs were released, including special editions exclusive to Amazon, Target, Urban Outfitters, and Walmart and 10 varieties of Cd’s.

There were signed versions at independent stores, an edition with hand-painted packaging hand-signed by Eilish, three premium box sets, a Target-exclusive edition with a poster, and multiple cassette tape variants, including a deluxe box set.

The album was universally acclaimed.

C. Tangana, ‘El Madrileño’

Sony Music released the album on February 26th, 2021.

The album incorporates traditional sounds and styles while staying genre-agnostic and contemporary.

It is the third music album recorded by C.Tangana .

The album was a big hit in Spain instantly. It topped all the charts and was the best selling album in Spain for the year 2021.

The album also was positioned eighth in the US Billboard Top Latin Albums chart.

Silk Sonic, ‘An Evening With Silk Sonic’

American singers Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak released the album on 12th November 2021.

It is the debut album by the R&B singers duo.

The two singers met each other in 2017 while on a tour and a thought to record an album together struck them. Well, that is how the band Silk Sonic was formed.

At the 53rd NAACP Image Awards, the album was nominated for Outstanding Album.

The album was an instant hit and received many accolades.

Jazmine Sullivan, ‘Heaux Tales’

Jazmine Sullivan, an American R&B singer, released her first extended play (EP), Heaux Tales on January 8, 2021.

At the 2021 BET Awards and the 2021 Soul Train Music Awards, Heaux Tales won Album of the Year.

The album had a good score based on reviews by Metacritics and was acclaimed universally.

Among the lyrical topics explored are feminism, classism, sexuality, body-shaming, with narrative interludes between each song.
